We made the trip down to Cork with Ardeo Arctic Wolf for his first FEI event in the CCI2*-S at Kilguilkey International. He was impeccably behaved throughout. We arrived with time for a nice leg stretch before tacking up heading over for the dressage.
The dressage judges had split opinions on him after a positive accurate test leaving him midfield heading into the show jumping. He jumped so well showing his flashy technique around the course.
Salt settled into his stable and tucked him into bed. He has such a personality and is so fun to be around!
We had a walk around the XC for first viewing before heading back to our BnB for the night.
Salt enjoyed a hand graze in the morning and watched a few horses jumping in the other classes before his turn to go.
He flew out the start box making it look super easy and cruised around the first few fences, Mel rode a wrong line and so poor Mr Salt made an unfortunate mistake at the corner out of the water but re presented to it and carried on around the course, flying all the way to the finish.
