Hattie Dinnis Embarks on New Adventures

At the beginning of September, we bid a fond farewell to our remarkable right-hand woman, Hattie Dinnis. Hattie has moved on to exciting new adventures after five incredibly successful years with us here at Ardeo Sport Horses.

Hattie has been an integral part of the team for over half a decade, starting her journey with us at the young age of 18, from her home in Kent, England. She began as a working student, where she devoted her time and passion to the well-being of our horses and the smooth management of our yard.

As her skills and expertise in horsemanship blossomed, she evolved into a pivotal asset for our business. Hattie played a crucial role in the procurement and sale of our equine stars. Selecting the perfect horses is no small feat and Hattie has a great eye. She sourced many with exceptional quality, trainable temperaments fit for both professionals and amateurs, and impeccable vetting certificates.

During her time with us, Hattie celebrated her first international event victory, riding the impressive Sligo Candy Boy gelding, Ardeo Castleconnor. She consistently achieved top placements in numerous competitions. This included a prestigious trip to the Royal Dublin Horse Show, earned through her participation in the ‘Young Event Horse’ series (YES).

We have had the privilege of witnessing Hattie’s remarkable growth, watching her become an indispensable part of our team. While her departure leaves us with a tinge of sadness, we are thrilled for the exciting endeavors that await her. Hattie, thank you for your unwavering dedication, hard work, and the incredible journey we’ve shared. You will be greatly missed by our entire Ardeo Sport Horses community, including our cherished friends, customers, and suppliers.

As Hattie sets forth on her new path, we are reminded of the wonderful opportunities that working with horses in Ireland can bring to young, passionate individuals like her. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors, and we look forward to the success she will undoubtedly achieve in her bright future.
