Ardeo Sport Horses is based at a newly built, state-of-the-art facility in Mount John, Newcastle, Co. Wicklow. Nestled in the heart of the “Garden of Ireland,” the property spans 21 acres and features over 12,000 native Irish trees, planted in partnership with the Trees on the Land initiative. Despite its peaceful rural setting, the yard is conveniently located just off the N11 and only 45 minutes from Dublin Airport, with easy access to all major international transport links.

Our purpose-built yard is designed to support the training, development, and wellbeing of sport horses in a safe, relaxed, and professional environment. With top-class arenas, secure stabling, ample turnout including woodchip paddocks, and access to scenic countryside hacking, horses at Ardeo are able to thrive - both mentally and physically.

Our outdoor cross-country schooling field - featuring water, bank, and ditch complexes — was designed in collaboration with William Micklem and built by renowned course designer Tony McMenamin. Its intelligent layout provides endless combinations to challenge and educate both horse and rider.
